A Toast to French–American Friendship
This past Thursday, St. Honoré Boulangerie had the joy of hosting our very first Nouveau Wine Celebration, in partnership with the Alliance Française. From the moment guests stepped through our doors, the air was filled with excitement, laughter, and the inviting aromas of French cuisine.
Food, Wine, and Flavor
Our team, together with Dominique Geulin and Philippe Boulot, prepared a generous tasting menu that brought classic French flavors to life. Guests enjoyed a beautiful selection of savory bites, from Bouchée à la Reine and Escargot Brioche to charcuterie, cheeses, and elegant petits fours, all crafted to complement the wines of the evening.
The wine curation was a highlight of the night. Each attendee received ten tasting pours including both French nouveau selections and Oregon wines made by French winemakers. We were honored to feature:

Guests were treated to a brief, enchanting performance by Jasmine, a singer from the Portland Opera. Her voice filled the bakery and added a warm cultural ambiance that made the evening truly unforgettable.
The raffle added excitement, with lucky guests taking home a picnic basket from Versailles Gardens and a wine trio to savor at home.
